Uniquely flavored with a kick of jalepeño spice, these Mexican-inspired pops are a must-try.
Makes 6 popsicles
1/4 cup tequila blanco
1 jalapeño, thinly sliced
1 1/2 cups grapefruit juice
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon Mexican chile powder
1 tablespoon kosher salt
Combine the tequila and jalapeño slices in a large pitcher and let sit about 30 minutes. (If you’re just not that into spicy margs, you can skip this step.) Remove the jalapeños from the tequila with a slotted spoon and add the grapefruit juice, sugar, and water. Stir to blend and divide among 6 ice pop molds and freeze until solid, at least 6 hours.
While those are freezing, mix the chile powder and salt together. Unmold the pops and sprinkle chile salt over before serving.
